Hand-illuminated gold-leaf initials (A–Z) from the Gutenberg Bible

Description

We have put together an entire alphabet of splendid illuminated initials from the 15th century, copied from originals in the existing Gutenberg Bibles. Painted in gouache on handmade rag paper and finished with 22-carat gold in accordance with old traditions, they make a valuable present and decorative addition to any wall.

In a hand-cut passe-partout (30 x 24 cm). Size of the initial: ca. 8 x 8 cm.
