Our reproductions of single pages of the Gutenberg Bible are manufactured on historical machines by the printers of the Gutenberg Museum using the traditional letterpress technique. They are reproduced in their original format on handmade paper bearing the museum watermark. Unlike Gutenberg we print the individual pages of his 42-line Bible in two to three colours, with red and/or blue display type, headers and beginnings of lines and the outlines of the ornamentation, lending even the uncoloured pages a very decorative appearance.
